I find it SO hard to find decent gifts for the smaller budgets, but fear not, I have pulled together some crackers for you all! These gifts are perfect for Kris Kindle or small Christmas gifts between families, teachers, extended families and friends.
My Shining Armour Karma Necklace (€20) – I received this necklace in a goodie bag at a Blogger Conference in Cork and briefly met the lady behind the brand at a party in Dublin. I love this necklace it’s so simple and so elegant and the length is perfect for wearing with v-neck tshirts. There are so many lovely Christmas gift ideas on the website and free delivery worldwide, handy.
Bia Beauty Bite Size Skin Care (€10) – I love this brand in that everything is made in Cork and all the ingredients are natural, a brilliant combination. This is a really clever way of testing out a new brand and new products. I went on to purchase a full size bottle of their Stop the Clock eye cream. There’s a good amount of product in each little tube and in keeping with the theme of sustainability you can reuse the tubs in future to house your beauty products when you travel.
Handmade wooden bowl by Roy Humphreys (€18.00) we have a bowl similar to this and it’s a real feature piece on the hall table. This one would be lovely on a hall stand for storing keys or on your night stand to hold lipbalms, the list is endless. It would make a really lovely and unusual handmade gift that the recipient could put in a place that reminds them of you every day!
Skincare kit from Voya (€20) Being from Sligo I don’t think I could have a wishlist of any sort and leave this brand out. The family behind the brand are from the same area as I am so I’m keeping it local. And Katie McAnena, a girl (and powerhouse) I met in college is the brand ambassador. I haven’t tried this Skincare Kit but it’s a cracker of a kit for only €20. I have their moisturizer which is absolutely amazing, a little goes a long way and it smells beyond fabulous and it too comes in a lovely gift set perfect for a slightly bigger budget item.
Hand lotion from The Handmade Soap company (€14.95) – honestly I cannot even begin to describe how divine the smell is! I have this at the kitchen sink and use it everyday. A little goes a long way and its it is lovely and creamy. And the smell, ahhh seriously!
Surf Cafe Living Cookbook (€19.95) literally right next door to the Voya Seaweed baths you will find Shells Cafe, well that’s if you can spot it past the THRONGS of people that frequent it! They actually have two cookbook both of which are brilliant, the pictures alone will make you wistfull for the sound of the waves and taste of salt on your lips.
