Sulphate free hair products

I’ve mentioned before my now mild obsession with sulphates when it comes to the heads in this household. Even a tiny bit of research will alert you to how awful this stuff is and it’s in everything, although that said it’s not pure evil in every product on your bathroom shelf. But when it comes to hair and heads I really don’t feel there is a place for sulphates. We’ve completely switched now, the girls use all products from Elave which I’ve mentioned beforeI personally found that sometimes the Elave shampoo didn’t remove all the product that I put into my hair and didn’t leave it as shiny as I’d normally expect. So I’ve been trying out the sulphate free Precious Nature Ranges ranges from Alfaparf Milano and I have finally found a hair care routine I am going to stick with. precious nature alfaparf milano sulphate free shampoo sulphate free haircare alfaparf milano ireland the two darlings If you follow me on Snapchat (you should, lol, username thetwodarlings) you will have seen me mention the Precious Nature range a good few times. Being the Research Engineer than I used to be I’ve been running a few ‘hair experiments’ on these sulphate free shampoo and conditioner. The main finding of my, ahem, research (!) is that when you use a sulphate free shampoo you get a lot longer out of your hair and style (I got three full days out of mine, after that I just wanted to wash it anyway). This is because when you use a shampoo with sulphates you are essentially stripping your hair of natural oils and then your hair has to produce more oils to compensate for the loss.

There are five different products in the range which you will find details of here. I’ve used the shampoo from the range for Curly and Wavy hair and am now using the one for Coloured Hair (only because I have it really), I’m using the cleansing conditioner from the Hair with Bad Habits range and the mask from the Thirsty Hair range. I use the cleansing conditioner every time I wash my hair and themask once a week. I think when I’m through what I have I’ll stick with range for Thirsty Hair. precious nature alfaparf milano sulphate free shampoo sulphate free haircare alfaparf milano ireland the two darlingsThe Alfaparf Milano range is not available in shops but in salons nationwide (you can ring here if you want to find your closest salon 045 856490), it’s not the cheapest nor is it the most expensive at about €13 for the shampoo and €15 for the mask but in my mind it’s a worthwhile investment. Especially if like me you want to get an extra day or two out of your hairstyle that most likely took a mammoth effort to find the time to do! precious nature alfaparf milano sulphate free shampoo sulphate free haircare alfaparf milano ireland the two darlings I was sent the shampoo and conditioner from this range but bought the mask, and everything going forward with my own mooola!
