I flit between weeks where I actually bother to style my hair with these beachy waves and weeks where it spends a good few days tied up in a bun where it receives little to no attention. So here’s the low down on what I do when I actually bother to put some effort into my hair because quite frankly a post on my hair when I don’t do anything with it would be finished by now! These are the tools and products I use. I’ve raved about the Tigi Bedhead Joyride Texturising primer before so won’t bore you all again suffice to say it’s the business especially if you put the effort into curling your hair this means it actually last without the curls losing any of their bounce. I love this version of the Elnett Hairspray because it doesn’t leave the curls stiff or hard.
This Mark Hill curling tongs is brilliant – I’ve tired GHD curls and Babyliss Big Curls but nothing works as nicely at creating natural looking curls as this. It has a large barrel and heats up to 200 degrees, so mind your fingers, neck and forehead! I got this an age ago and can’t seem to find the same model but here’s a similar one designed to achieve the same look.I won’t lay claim to having created the curling method I use, instead I turned to one of my favourite YouTubers Anna Saccone and followed her fabulous tutorial and have adopted the same method ever since.
And finally the tutorial from Anna Saccone which is honestly brilliant and don’t blame me if you can’t resist her charm by the end of the clip!
