There are some people that are easy to buy gifts for, like sisters that too love makeup and bags, and then there are those that are a little more difficult, like Great Grandma’s and Grandparents and even yourself. And that is where the idea of personalised gifts come in. In our house we do Kris Kindle but I wanted to get something small for my parents from the girls. We don’t see either sets of grandparents everyday so I thought that something that would remind them of the girls everyday would be nice so that’s when the idea of Photobox came to mind. Being one that enjoys a bit of a giggle I decided to get my parents two of these quirky cups that, on the face of it, are black but when you fill up the cup with hot water it changes so you can see the picture and message underneath.

A gift for ourselves was this fabulous calendar to which I added pictures of the two darlings themselves to every month, indulgent I know but sure that’s parenting for you! It will be really nice to look at over the course of next year to see how the girls change from year to year. I also love that there is space to write on each of the days, with weddings and himself being different places for work it’s hard to keep up sometimes so this will be so helpful.
I have ordered a few times before from Photobox and have always been impressed with firstly how easy it is to use their website and the sheer variety of gifts to choose from. These items were delivered separately but all within 5 days of ordering which is excellent service given that they are personalised gift items. The quality of the calendar is excellent, the pictures are perfect and the paper used is heavy and good quality. And then the final thing that impressed me was the value – I spent £40 and for this I got the two photo mugs, one of which was half price, and the calendar and delivery which was free once I went over a certain amount.
I love this website at any point in the year for gifts to loved ones of loved ones or even after special events. My parents got us a personalised mug with pictures of the big ladies first Christmas before and my sister (and bridesmaid) got me one with pictures from our wedding day on it. Both cups are the first I reach for in the morning and the small ladies always love looking at the pictures too.
I was given credit to use on the Photobox website.
