Handmade Irish bags

I was so thrilled to be contacted by Waterford based Claire Povey to see if I would like to try out one of her beautiful handmade bags. These bags are perfect for bringing to the beach, the pool, the gym or for using as a changing bag. Claire kindly gave me the Harbour beach bag which I started using as my changing bag since it’s not quite beach weather down Southjust yet!waterford mummy blogger ireland the two darlings claire povey bags review handmade First things first the bags are handmade by Claire in Waterford. Claire is originally from the UK and moved to Ireland in 2009 with her husband and two young children in tow. Her bags are made from oil cloth so they are sturdy and most importantly for me anyway, they are wipe clean! The handles are a perfect length for going nicely over your shoulder when you’re carrying a wriggly baby/lazy toddler and they reinforced nicely so I have no worries about loading this bag up with all my necessary bits and pieces.

The bag is lovely and light too which is a great relief as I didn’t even realise until I started using this just how heavy my previous bag was. The bag I received is gender neutral so it would suit Mums of boys and girls alike. The bag comes with one internal pocket which is handy for housing soothers/crayons/ Sophie the Giraffe/teetha sachets. I keep the rest of my bits organised using the little bags I’ve previously made.

I kindly received this bag for free in return for a review – all views are my own and are completely honest.
